Apartment inspiration

I've been getting a little bit ahead of myself, but I have already started looking at pieces of furniture that Brent and I could get for the apartment. Luckily, he already has some great things, like a Danish coffee table and side tables, so we don't need to upgrade the entire place, but these few items would be wonderful to have, and would look great with the rest of Brent's furniture.

After reading two bad reviews for the green couch, I am not so sure I would buy that one, but then, there are a lot of vintage stores where we can find a similar couch. The blue chair, however, has good reviews.

The side table with storage would be perfect for our magazines, or some books that we need on a regular basis (like my Giada and his Alice Waters cookbook).

Any of those would make some truly great wedding gifts.

In the next few days, I'm going to make more small changes to the design of this blog. Blogger doesn't make it super easy. I think once I have more things to post, and find a new name for the blog, I'll move to Wordpress. If you have any tips or ideas, send them my way! I love getting feedback.

urban outfitters furniture is super crappy. save your cash. i bought my couch and chair secondhand-- it's better for the environment and better for your wallet, especially when you're just getting started up in marriage. just a suggestion. :]

I was planning on looking at secondhand stores too, because they tend to have a larger selection. Brent's stuff is all secondhand, and he's found some great pieces. But thanks for confirming that it's crappy. I'll just see what's available when it's time to get new things.
